NC Unarmed Guard Training Certification This course requires 16 total hours of mandatory attendance across two consecutive days. Participants must attend from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the first scheduled date and return the following day from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to complete the program. Course Overview This 16-hour course mandated by the North Carolina Private Protective Services Board equips security professionals with essential knowledge and skills for their role. The curriculum thoroughly covers patrol procedures, emergency response protocols, communication techniques, report writing, and note-taking methods. A significant portion focuses on legal knowledge that establishes clear boundaries for security operations within North Carolina.
